Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted November 26, 2014 @@laurenella82 I've noticed that a lot too...there should be some kind of clothes exchange link or to sale, buy, trade whatever! There's so many Of us switching sizes all the time. There may already be one I'm not too good at finding my way around this site yet. There is a whole thread devoted to this. Forsythia 882 Posted November 27, 2014 I am a clearance rack person and also go to places like Ross, Burlington, etc. The thing is, I still have to look nice for work, for interviews, etc. And I can't wear the same pants every day. Lol. So even if I shrink out of them, that's fine. I hate looking frumpy in baggy oversized clothes.
JanetPRN 496 Posted November 27, 2014 I need a professional / executive look for work. I used Gwynnie Bee , which is an online clothing rental site. You rent several outfits at a time , I choose 3 at time for $79.99 per month. You just return anything ( free shipping) you are done with or don't like. They start at size 10 and go up from there, so there are lots of choices. I also use upscale online consignment shops. My favorites are Thred Up and Twice. They often have have 40-50% for new customers. When you couple that with thrift shop savings , there are some amazing bargains. I got a pair of Michael Kors jeans new with the tags still on for $13 , tag said $129. The clothes come clean and shipping is included for returns . Easy peasy! MarieMarie 346 Posted November 27, 2014 I remember the first time I lost weight. I got rid of all my size 16 clothes. Now many sizes larger, I wish I was that size
