TatorTot 44 Posted November 25, 2014 This is just a thought I had while reading the posts! Set the table for yourself with candles and maybe light music if you like. I have this feeling that one or a number of your family members will not want you in the kitchen eating alone and join you
amponder 396 Posted November 25, 2014 Try asking your family to eat just 1 meal at the table someone is sure to resist you at first mine did, but it's so much nicer and great family time. Even if something simple just one meal.
BigGirlPanties 957 Posted November 25, 2014 coming up we had a little tv in the kitchen...it was my Dad's ... no one was allowed to touch it when he was home... and during dinner it was OFF... always... unfortunately that didn't help my eating habits ... but we are grazers...so I agree, if you make your plate, and eat mindfully, slowly...it shouldn't matter where... but if I had a family, I would SO VERY want to sit around the dinner table, without tv, and visit...it's the only time of the day we were all together... (good night, John Boy...LOL)
Summer Rain 245 Posted November 25, 2014 @BigGirlPanties (good night, John Boy...LOL) Your comment here made me smile but I ended up disliking that show because my mom would always say "why can't you kids get along like those Walton kids?" There are 5 of us and we got along like NORMAL siblings lol. Thanks for the smile
