Forsythia 882 Posted November 30, 2014 I was sleeved on may 5th 2014, and since the surgery I've lost just under 100 lbs. My recovery was pretty textbook. No issues or complications. My diabetes is gone and my HgA1C level is now 5.5%. My high weight was 335. Started the program at 312lbs.
realrawuncutsleeve 30 Posted November 30, 2014 @@Forsythia hi!! Question? Are....well were u a type 1 or 2 diabetic? My sister is a 1 and she thinkin of doing this as well but she thinks the bypass is best for her. What are your thoughts?
Forsythia 882 Posted November 30, 2014 I'm type 2. WLS won't cure your sister's type from what I hear. I don't know enough about type 1 to offer any advice either way.
