dinosaurateme 4 Posted November 23, 2014 I'm a little concerned about my sleeve. I had surgery on November 17. Everything was fine until a couple days ago. I started noticing that my stomach was a little swollen right under my left breast. It hurts when I get up or sit down. It's not near any of the incisions. Other than that, everything is fine. I'm eating fine with no nausea. Does anyone know what could be causing the swelling and pain?
Chele H 427 Posted November 23, 2014 (edited) PLEASE do not seek medical advice here.....you are so early out if surgery, it could be anything, it could be nothing. PLEASE call your surgeon's office. Good luck, I hooe you feel better. Edited November 23, 2014 by Chele H

Quest4TheNewMe 225 Posted November 23, 2014 In a case like this, it NEVER hurts to call your doc. It could be nothing, but better safe than sorry.
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted November 24, 2014 It has always been a good idea to pay attention to what your body is trying to tell you. That also means that you should not minimize your symptoms. My primary doctor told me one time that I had a severe case of "Google-itis" and to always call if I was not sure about something. He also does like diagnosing over the phone. I called him one time complaining about back pain near my shoulder blade. He insisted that I come in the next day. Guess what? It was the shingles and I was putting Ben-Gay on it. So yeah, I agree with the others that you should give your doctor a "heads up" about it in the morning.
