momohime 121 Posted November 23, 2014 Don't really have a good answer for you, but I'm in a similar boat.
bobbyswife 862 Posted November 23, 2014 I think the very best thing you can do is print out your post and give it to your psych. I'm worried about you. As a therapist that has counseled multiple anorexics, I'm proud of you that you can admit that there's a problem, but I've seen time and time again that the addiction to the problem is in and of itself the greater problem. Please be honest with those that love you.
mnmlst 249 Posted November 23, 2014 I think you should continue to confront this, talk about it with your friends and family, and with your psych to handle this. You don't want to become a full-blown anorexic. Listen to your family and your partner. They will only want what's best for you, and they may be able to see things more clearly than you can, having that little bit of distance. Trust them. Good luck. <
Thinkingthinner1109 485 Posted November 23, 2014 I already know this is going to be a problem for me. I have 23 pounds until goal but I am obsessed watching the scale go down.
