I finally got a date for my sleeve - 1/7/15. I get my band removed on 11/26/14 and have to wait six weeks to get sleeved. I have to start my liquid diet on Christmas Eve. I can't believe it. Any suggestions for getting thru the liquid diet?

Congrats on setting a date! The only thing I could say about the pre-op liquid diet is that the first few days are rough, but it gets better. Just stay busy to keep your mind off of it and drink a ton! You will get through it.

Good luck with the band removal!

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
