kasumi 37 Posted November 22, 2014 So I just finished day 5 of my pre op liquids, and since yesterday, my energy level has been extremely low. I came home today and went straight to sleep. Anyone else have this issue?
SuperDave 1,115 Posted November 22, 2014 I think what you are experiencing is absolutely normal. It is a huge change your body is experiencing. I was tired, grouchy, and had a headache for several days. It did get better, though. Get some rest and hang in there! Good luck with the surgery!

laurenella82 625 Posted November 22, 2014 I have to do this for 4 weeks and I'm sooooooo nervous that I won't be able to. Good luck with your surgery!!
anneeo 13 Posted November 23, 2014 Luckily my dr only requires a 3 day pre-op diet of two Protein Shakes and one healthy meal a day. I think a week a head thought I'll at least be subbing a shake for one meal.

I just found it odd that most people say it starts off hard then gets easier, but for me, days 1 and 2 were a breeze!
