shrinkingjill 5 Posted November 21, 2014 I have hit a slump, gained about 2 pounds. The thing is my ankles are huge. (It isn't that time of month, at least it shouldn't be) I am drinking around 60-70oz a day and that is a struggle. I am 6 weeks out. So I think the gain is Water, but what can I do to get rid of it? momohime 121 Posted November 21, 2014 Oddly enough, drink more water! Easier said than done, I know.. especially if you're already drinking that much in a day. More Water in = more sodium/excess fluids out though.
BitterSweet* 835 Posted November 21, 2014 Decrease the sodium intake in your foods and beverages, drink more plain Water (without additives like crystal lite); go for a long walk, then take a hot bath with epsom salts (provided you are cleared for baths and not newly post-op). The water weight will dissapear.
