LML8789 52 Posted November 20, 2014 1 Year ago today I had my sleeve surgery. It was the best decision I've ever made for my health--diabetes in remission; no longer have high blood pressure--off all medications and down 119 lbs. I was hoping to hit my goal by today but i've been in a 3 week stall so I'm 3 lbs short of my goal but I'm thrilled with the results. Even if I don't go any lower--I'm happy with my size 12 self. Sorry for no pictures--I'm not very techy (need to work on that). Best of luck on your journey to those just starting out and continued success to the rest of us!! LML8789 52 Posted November 20, 2014 thanks everyone! My worst stall has to be right now. It's been 3 1/2 weeks since I've lost though I haven't been exercising since I had to have my gallbladder out 5 weeks ago. Hopefully now that I've been cleared to start exercising I can get back to weight loss. I have 3 lbs to go to the goal I picked in the beginning but I wouldn't mind another 10-15 from there. other than that, the other stalls I have had only last a week or so. You learn alot of Patience during this journey! thanks again--Lisa
mimisturn 6 Posted November 23, 2014 Was your gallbladder surgery as bad as the VGS?
LML8789 52 Posted November 23, 2014 Mimi--Gallbladder surgery wasn't bad. I was in a lot of pain for few days before so I was just happy for that to end. Surgery was laparoscopic. I was able to go back to work 1 week later--- it was pretty similar to the vsg. Lisa
