Mbstas 57 Posted November 17, 2014 You will be fine! We all have had those same feelings. Keep looking ahead. The best for you is coming. This time next week you will have something new to be thankful for!
Bring It On 55 Posted November 18, 2014 You will do fine!!!! I wasn't a bit nervous before my surgery. I had wanted it for so long (even had to gain 4 pounds to qualify). It has been a tough road, but I sure don't have buyers remorse now. Good luck to you!!!
lovebugg2013 34 Posted November 18, 2014 Kelly lynn we share the same surgery date. I'm freaking out now. Praying that everything goes extraordinary well for the both of us.
kelly lynn 19 Posted November 18, 2014 What I'm truly afraid of now is mostly the procedure itself and hoping it all goes okay my son deals with a lot of anxiety and is asking me all kinds of questions that in turn have my own mind going crazy!! Lol

ready2B 263 Posted November 18, 2014 I totally understand! I also had my surgery Nov 10th and although I had 4 months to prepare, it was really hard to keep my nerves in check that day! I had to just completely detach myself from all that was happening and really trust in my surgeon, my decision, all the research, the emotional and physical preparations I had done, and just not second guess any of it anymore. I really had to just shove aside all thoughts of what was going to take place with the surgery, the recovery, the rest of my life, etc. and kind of go into everything kind of numb emotionally. It worked and I was able to find a calm place during those last few hours leading up to showtime! You will do fine! After months of anticipation getting to this point, the surgery itself is sort of anticlimactic. You fall asleep, then what feels like a second later, you wake up and it's over. You are sore for a few days but that's very temporary. I am a week out and it is just now starting to sink in that I am beginning a whole new wonderful life!
