EEK-K-K ! ! ! :) I'm shrinking. Bought some new bras today. Started out with a 42DD then last winter, wore 40D. Today it is a 38C.

STEPH- I know how you feel about your fill. I had one in May, hit my sweet spot and then a couple weeks ago, I started having reflux really bad. Had .5cc's removed. Now, how can you go from being just right for three months and then being too tight?

JANET - Next get-together, I'll have to hit the malls with you and Steph. I emptied out my closet today and took it all to community outreach. 20 years worth of clothes. My closet looks pathetic.

Good Morning Gang...

Candice & Ruby - how are you ladies doing - I know both have had some issues this last week - Hugs hope they are getting better.

Well just cking in - before I head for the gym. I am bowlling this morning too - I am not a very good bowler - well maybe I will be better this yr with the weight gone and working with weights (having stronger arms)- but I still have finger nails (long) so I don't know how that will play out.

Well - Just wanted to stop in and say Hi...

CBL:biggrin:

Hi ladies. I'm just checking in quickly this morning before we head off to Aikido class.

Once again my weight is 171 for the second week in a row. It's less frustrating for me this time around. I think that's because it hasn't gone up to 175 like it's typically done in the past - one week 171, the next week 175. So while it's the same, it's different. If that makes any sense to you.

My appetite has increased. That's both good and bad. It means that I'm eating more calories, so I don't feel so guilty about working out as much as I do. But I have to be careful that I don't overdo it. Tomorrow is my lazy day and for the first time in forever I'm looking forward to it. My muscles and joints feel old today.

Well that's it for now. Might try and check back later today to read up on missed posts.

I wanted to comment to the people that had their bands tighten up after losing weight...my fill level went down with weight loss. One suggestion that my doctor had is that losing weight places stress on the body and at least when I am under a lot of stress my band tightens up. That is why I could hardly eat ANYTHING last weekend and towards the beginning of the week. Now I am fine and can get down most foods. So if your body is being placed under stress from losing weight that could be the reason for the tightening. But don't feel alone...I steadily decreased my fill as I lost weight.

Well DH is taking the first round to tests to become a teacher. It couldn't come at a worse time as he is still dealing with the effects of losing his mom. He is also taking his classes online but told me last night that he is going to take a break between this set of classes and his next because he just needs a mental break. I don't blame him.

I am starting to get caught up on things...I hope. I just cleaned our entire kitchen from ceiling to floor and just about ready to go scrub the floor on hands and knees. It hasn't been mopped in a couple of weeks and our swiffer just isn't going to cut it. My run starts around 1:30 so that will help me get caught up on the exercise front. ALMOST all of my grading as done, my lesson plans are pretty much finished for next week and we only have students 3 days next week so I am finally convinced that I could be caught up with work by Thursday. That takes such a burden off of me.

As with the weight I was back down closer to last weeks weight this morning. I am retaining Water like there is no tomorrow. I did get a wedding ring for my birthday (it is my birthstone) and I can really tell how much water I am retaining by how loose or tight the ring is. It is either water or I am gaining and losing fat in my fingers!!! The biology teacher told me it is probably my body storing cortisols because of the stress and lack of sleep that is causing the weight fluctuations.

Ruby I am glad that you are looking forward to you lazy day. I feel like everyday has become a lazy day in terms of exercise for me, but hopefully with getting caught up I can curb those days. Hope you had fun at your class!

I went to my doctor for a fill the other day. I had not had a fill since May. So far during the month of October I have ridden my bike 55 miles. I am riding again this afternoon that will be about another 20. My exercise goal this month is 250 miles on the bike and 12-15 hours of resistance strength training. I need 3 pounds to be at 50 pounds with my band. I am 31.5 pounds from my goal. I don't lose fast but it stays off. I am building muscle which also weighs more but helps to burn more calories while resting. I figure I will get there eventually and am not stressing out about the slow weight loss. I know that my former job was a big contributor to not losing because of the number of hours I had to work as well as knee surgery set me back and cut into exercise time. Take care, have to get ready to ride again. Today is supposed to get to 78 and tomorrow 80 which is great for St. Louis at this time of year. I will ride every day until it rains later next week so will get a couple days off then. While it is raining I plan on going to spinning class.

Hi All.

Well my weight loss didn't help my game :crying: my 1st game 33 second game 54 - fouled twice (big feet).. Had fun and heck my team wasn't great anyway - I think our score was like 147 on the last game... It's for fun anyway - and that we had....

We had lunch - chicken Pasta salad & 1/2 piece of cake - and not the part that had all the frosting the smaller part of the slice... Came home took a nap - I think the pasta and sugar did it - cleaned the kitchen and now am washing....

Boring Saturday - but my Supertarget is suppose to open next week so gotta save my $$$ to spend at the new store...

Ruby - Yes it's good that your weight is at least staying the same - it's sure better than a gain...

Karri - Glad you are getting caught up that's going to make you feel better - Yep DH has ALOT on his plate right now - Hugs to him...

How ways your 5 mile run???

Riberty - The weights coming off and that's what counts - not how fast but that it is coming off... Keep up the good work..

Then he added that he'd better shut up or I'll keep on shopping,. LOL

Hope everyone is having a good day. It finally warmed up here a little.

Hi,

I've been here off & on. Getting ready to hit the road again in the morning.

Had one last session in the pool this afternoon. We brought our Water aerobics CD with us so we've been using it every day.

We're all warmed up and ready to get started when we get settled later this week.

Internet tomorrow will be questionable!

Anyone on Facebook? ?? I've become obsessed with "parking wars", "speed racing" and now "Kidnap"!! I really need to get a life!

Wow, I had a lot of reading to do to catch up with you all.

Phyl; Water aerobics is so cool, are you getting any use from that black/white polka dot thingy??? heee,hee....

I am glad you are enjoying your RV adventure. I am so jealous. and I am on Facebook. See you there!

Janet: Well, what can I say... THANK YOU just dosn't seem to cut it. But I really appreciated you taking the time to chat last night. I've been good yest. 950 cals. and today 1340. A little higher than I would have liked but its o.k. considering I went to T.o. this morning and spent the day with DD. She had bought me a Hydrating Facial for my B-day and I just used it today.

Then we went shopping at the GAP and I bought myself a pair of jeans... I took 4 pair (different cuts) into the change room, size 16... well guess what? I needed a size 14!!!! Whoo hoo, I came home this evening and packed my little gym bag for tomorrow after work.

Stephanie; yuk I can't get the colours to change

anyways I am happy for you and your weight loss, you are SO close to goal... you go for it... You did the right thing by getting your fill adjusted... :-)

Kari; You and KARRI will be marathoning together soon, I can just feel it.

RUby; sounds like you are getting back on track, you just keep adding up those calories and I'll chime in too. o..k.

We can all do this, when one of "us" falter the other gals are there to pick us up.

Thank you all so much,

Love Peaches

Yes, have used the black & white polka dot thingy a lot this summer, especially in the last two weeks! In the pool twice a day since here at our friends, so alternating it with another. However, I am bouncing out of both of them as they're both too big, so have to get a new suit when we get settled this week! Baggy in the butt & boobs! A good problem.

Your shopping trip sounds like great fun! Congrats on the 14s! I noticed one of my new tops... that I wore to church this morning, 18/20, is a little too big. Can't imagine wearing smaller than that!?

Hitting the road again tomorrow morning, so DH is packing things up... bicycle back in the RV, etc!

Hi ladies. Wow I planned on spending a whole hour or two catching up on posts. I can't believe it was less than 15 minutes. You all must have had a great weekend without us.

I have finally been able to eat a bit this weekend. It's been so nice. I do still have good restriction though so I'm not able to over indulge.

Rose is here for a week ladies. I'll make sure she gets on once in a while and checks in.

I'll be back tomorrow morning. I just have a lot going on right now. I will find time tomorrow. Good night ladies!

Hello Ladies!!! Do you remember me. HAHA So sorry that I have not been around. You wouldnt believe my life lately. Oh where to start!!!

Ok so remember when I told you guys that they started me on Zolofy, trazadone and other meds for depression and to help me sleep? Well that was the start of it all. I took my meds and I was feeling really good. I mean great!! I was flying on top of the world and kinda living on the edge. Well I had a few people say to me what is going on with you? You are really different. Then I forgot the Zoloft for a few days and I started to think about things I had done and etc. (I jumped off a bridge in total darkness and fell on lots of large bolder rocks, gambling all the time, very impulsive) Anyway after a couple weeks with out the zoloft I started to feel like 'me' again. I was thinking about my actions all summer and thought 'what the hell was I doing?!?! Why didn't someone stop me? I was running around like some maniac.' So anyway, made an appointment with my psch doctor finally because I figured it was time to tell her that I just stopped the zoloft. While we were meeting and I was telling her about it and how I felt now she told me that sometimes bi polar lays under and it is hard to detect but if you increase a persons antidepressants (they maxed me out on zoloft to control my OCD) they go into a state of mania and she thinks that is what was going on. The OCD was very controled but like I said I was acting like a maniac and just didn't have a care in the world. So now she is having me take Lamictal (mood stabablizer) because she thinks I am bi-polar. She told me she is not ready to actually give me that diagnosis yet but she would like to keep evaluating me each month. So now I am on this lamictal. Now it gets great! I am feeling really down again because I just started the lamictal last week and it takes 5 weeks to get the total effect from it so I am emotional, OCD is back, I got a promotion to superviser of 3 counties, my former superviser quit and I took her job but she left it a total fricken mess (paperwork not done for 3-4 years on some clients) and it all has to be brought current. I won't even go into all that because it is such a long drawn out sagga it would take me too long to tell you the mess she left, and I am dealing with my 15 year old son with MAJOR attitude!! I am trying to catch all her work up as well as keeping up with my own and it is really hard because I have to go through stacks and stacks of papers to get them sorted and filed and then do documentation on each file for each month of each year the clients were/are served with us, my son is just being awful and mean mothed and spiteful, and I don't have any damn antidepressants that are doing anything for me right now!!!36_1_44.gif My family thinks I am a total wack job. Hubby told me tonight just being a jerk that I am really weird now. No he didn't say it in a teasing or joking way. He was mean. My son is the teenager from hell right now who keeps saying 'you a nut job' and my lovely daughter saying 'I can really see the bi-polar now that she talked about it. It all makes sense why you 'fly of the handle and stuff.' I said do any of the three of you ever stop to think I am very stressed out with the job, keeping the house cleaned and then having you all make me feel like I am nothing?

Anyway, I am sorry I came here and unloaded. I just felt like I needed to talk to someone and I thought of all of you. You have always been there for me. I will try to get on more often but right now can't promise anything. I miss all of you and how you all make me feel. Like I am someone. The weight loss has been ok. I am 16 lbs from doctors goal but 26 from mine. My last blood check my Iron is low, my potassium is low, Protein is low, cholesterol is great, and the rest looked ok. I am taking supplements for iron and pottassium pills from the doc and was told to eat more protein. I have slipped on that because I just grab a snack here and there and bring it back to my desk. (I have an in home office for work so it is convenient to just grab a snack when I get a little hungry. They are not bad Snacks but just not enough I guess.

Well it is 12:16 AM and I have to get to bed. I have a 8am meeting tomorrow morning at the main campus, 1 hour away so I better get some shut eye.

Man I feel better after telling you all my drama. Thanks and I hope to be back soon. How is everyone else doing? You all look great in your pics!!:)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
