Okay Ladies....................I was just kidding. I used to have a cartoon on my fridge of this fat lady telling her doctor she did all those things so she would weigh less. I just couldn't resist a little funny. LOL

I'm here. I have a fill scheduled for today so I'm a very happy camper. I'm asking for a moderate fill just to get things back on track.

I started the month off with a morning exercise session and am going to try and eat something for lunch, knowing I will be on liquids for a couple of days post fill.

I wish there was some way to make it more restrictive in the evenings and keep it how it is for me now in the morning/early afternoon. If only I could ask for a timer to be installed.

Heck - In my WW days I would take the jewelry off ... for Dr bobby I just put good smelling lotion on my tummy

Sorry, I ate the cake.... all by myself

I can relate to that  you go to the doc on the 4th to set up appointment for getting a new band???

Kari - That was funny!!!!!!

When I read the first post, I was thinking wow that's excessive, I just got a fill today and the nurse didn't see all those areas.

Ya I thought this is what you do when you go to the GYN not the fill Dr.

It took me a while to get here - it's the 1st thing I do when I get to work in the morning - and the site would not load - so I emailed you and phyl - gotta talk to my band buddies ... I was going thru withdrawls 15 hrs and no lbt..

OMG - you get off for Mardi Gras how cool is that - do you have a King Cake on Fat Tuesday... Do you go party with the masses. It looks a little scary to me what they show on t.v. - a little wild for my old age -

That would be the PREFECT BAND !!!!

The wildness is on Bourbon Street where I definitely don't go for Mardi Gras. Yes we have King Cake. Actually, the P.E. teacher just walked in with one 5 minutes ago. Hopefully, I will be going to Endymion, our biggest and prettiest parade, tomorrow night. It passes in front of a friend's house. Which makes them Mardi Gras royalty. People actually buy houses just to be on that route. This is the first year since Katrina it goes back to it's original route.

2 1/2 more hours and I'm outta here!!!!! No fights yet, fingers crossed, let it last.

Do you guys supend both parties in a fight - That's the part that I don't get.

A kid bit my GS on the bus when he was in 8th grade - he fought back and got suspended too... Made no sense to me - this kid who fought him has some issue I gathered and was known for being a trouble maker..

GOOD AFTERNOON LADIES

It is cold and snowy here in Michigan. All of the schools have declared a snow day. The snow is sposed to continue till late this afternoon, so I ended up canceling my fill and I'm going back next Friday morning. I still have some restriction and still keep sliming off and on.......my head just doesn't want to quit. I met my exersise quota for the month. I pedaled 979 miles this month for a two month total of 1547 miles. I've got to be getting close to the Riviera Maya. I don't know how to get the Mexican mileage. My daughter got me air miles and if I use those, I'm already pedaling home..........only problem, can't pedal through the Gulf of Mexico. LOL HAVE A GREAT AFTERNOON AND KEEP THOSE POUNDS DROPPING. SEE YOU ALL LATER.

A snow day, we had that once when I was about 7. It was more like, everything's frozen day.

Our youngest son is down there on a painting job (locomotives). I sure hope his boss keeps him reigned in.. he has a history of being a party animal and he's been doing so well! I forgot about Mardi Gras!!

Lots of drama! Come back and share it with us.

Just got back from my fill. I had .25cc put in so am at a total of 3 in a 4cc band. I do the fluro fill, so she could tell from the image that my band was loose and that it was indeed time for a fill. She said I probably could've come in a month ago. She said to expect it to loosen again in another 20lbs and not to wait as long as I did the next time around. I'm looking forward to the scale moving down again and hopefully it will keep going down and not yo-yo like it has this past couple of months.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
