A few hours post op!

Hi all. I'm approximately 5 hours Post Op in Tijuana. Dr. Venezuela was my surgeon with MexicoBariatricClinic.

I'm feeling pretty good. I've got some pain in my left shoulder area, which was to be expected. My throat is a little 'annoying' from the intubation, but definitely not intolerable. A LITTLE bit of Gas pains but not too bad. (I put in a Gas X strip as soon as I got back to my room). I've been up walking a few times already. Some of the meds make me a little nauseas if I move too fast but other than that, I'm great and could NOT be happier.

The care I have received here has been phenomenal! The entire process from my arrival in San Diego and meeting with my driver to this point has been fantastic! I am SO very happy that I made this decision!

Congratulations for getting to the "other side"! How long do you need to stay in the hospital?

I'll be here tonight and tomorrow night, then one night in the hotel before flying back home!
