Eveline 5 Posted November 15, 2014 Hi, Any help would so appreciated. I am 4 weeks post gastric bypass and the nutritionist said I could start with some steamed chicken so I did, but it's got stuck well and truly! It's been stuck now for 48hrs, in the beginning the pain was overwhelming and had me shaking uncontrollably but now it has eased to a dull ache with intermittent spasms, but I can't get anything but small amounts of liquids pass, tablets just reappear so does food.< /p> Does anybody have any tips on helping the chicken digest? Thanks in advance...
Kimteehee 21 Posted November 15, 2014 Quickly make yourself throw up. It happens to me sometimes. I use the opposite side of my toothbrush to put down my throat. It will help I guarantee
Eveline 5 Posted November 15, 2014 I have been trying on and off the whole time but I don't have much of a gag reflex and have had no luck at bringing up anything but saliva.

I was just hoping there was some other "trick" lol

Eveline 5 Posted November 15, 2014 There isn't much point as we are rural and if I rock up to the local hospital ER they will just tell me they can't deal with it and to go down to town.
