Brn2blossom 88 Posted November 15, 2014 Feels so surreal. I got my clear fluids, Vitamins, protiens, broths, soups... Starting to get nervous/scared. I know i have pain coming my way, starting to freak out. Any last moment words of wisdom?
Shari71 85 Posted November 15, 2014 You've made it this far. All of those whacky appointments, seminar, liter of blood drawn, test you probably never heard of and answering all of those questions with the Psych doctor. Now the time is is. Stay close to God or whatever grounds you. Keep us posted. And let us know if you need us. Because we'll need you too
RenewMe 64 Posted November 16, 2014 Just remember the pain is temporary and you can get through it. You'll have plenty of medicine to control it. The majority of my pain was acid-related (intense burning at the sternum) and was only resolved with IV Pepcid. Narcotics didn't help it & I had to ask the doc for the Pepcid. Good luck with your surgery! I'm sure all will go smoothly.

Brn2blossom 88 Posted November 17, 2014 Im setting up my living room so everything i need isnt too far. Are you able to get up off a chair and walk day 2 and 3? If not, ill be taking LOTS of meds so I can. Ugh!
sofianoemi 16 Posted November 17, 2014 I was not in too much pain same day I was walking and if you keep walking its even better to get rid of the gas
Quest4TheNewMe 225 Posted November 17, 2014 It's probably better if you don't put everything nearby, because walking to go get it will be good for you. Just try to not have to pick up your little.... I'm not supposed to lift over 10 lbs for two weeks. Thankfully my youngest is 3 yrs old, so I don't need to carry him hardly ever.
