Disney24fan 11 Posted November 15, 2014 I am 3 1/2 weeks post surgery. Though happy with results, I am dealing with regrets and depression especially when I watch my family eating food I can't have. I can really use a mentor to help me understand and work through these emotions. Thanks!

swimbikerun 1,046 Posted November 15, 2014 Question for you: why are you focusing on this instead of getting and working on the life you want to have? I don't regret my family members with diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems, etc. from obesity related diseases. Whether it is food or something else, jealousy and envy is going to be on their side once you have started losing more weight, getting healthier, and having a better QoL.
