yungshi 58 Posted November 13, 2014 So my surgery is tomorrow and I'm sooo anxious! Today I can't have any solids.. Only sugar free liquids. I'm going to try to sleep through it if I get hungry. I refuse to mess this up! A couple of nights ago I watched the gastric sleeve being done on YouTube and honestly, it didn't bother me much at all. Except the long tube they put down your throat. I'm really excited right now but I'm sure tomorrow will be a whole new story lol. I'm still waiting for the hospital to call me and tell me what time to be at the hospital! You'll be surprised how difficult it is to drink after surgery and dehydration is your primary concern after surgery. Walk as much as you can. Give your body the time it needs to heal.
