Surgery Scheduled 11/17/14...Any last minute tips?

I must be a pansy, because the gas pains suck for me. It's day 3 and my shoulders are still in agony. On the bright side I have been up walking, my drains come out today, and I should get to leave later in the evening. Yay! I'm sure I'll feel better when I'm in my own environment.

Ok the drains coming out and the abdominal binder made a huge difference! Going home in a few.

Just wondering how everyone is doing post surgical. So far, so good here. I will admit, getting my fluids in has been a struggle since it is sort of uncomfortable to drink (possibly because of the hiatal hernia repair) but I am trying with all of my might. I am getting my Vitamins and Proteins, so that is a huge plus! How is everyone else doing?
