Admitted Saturday morning at 07:30 and I was offered the opportunity to discharge

myself at noon on Sunday.

As I live 2 hours from the hospital and we had to return at 09:00 on Monday morning

for the leak test x-ray and so as my wife doesn't drive we chose to stay another night.

Don't get on the scale. Work on eating properly, drinking your Water and healing. Walk as much as you can. When you go back for your follow up the doctor will weigh you and then if you need to make any adjustments you can speak with your medical team.

@@Kindle You are definitely my hero!!!

Gee, thanks, but I'm giving the credit to my surgical team. There were 5 of us that day and we were all out shopping the streets of Tijuana the day after surgery! 2 people in our "pack" spoke Spanish, so we were able to track down the world's yummiest homemade Popsicles on the second day. ☺️

I had surgery at 7am on Monday and was released at 3pm on Tuesday....but Tuesday morning they started the process of sending me home. I had very little pain, was walking and doing things on my own without the nurses helping....the whole experience was fantastic! I am a single mother of a 12 yr old boy....he helped with lifting things like laundry and he vaccumed for me a couple times a week. I slept, drank, walked, slept, drank, walked. All good! I could have gone back to work in a week but I relaxed for 4 before going back. Good Luck!!

I had my surgery on 11/14/14 at around 11-12 and didn't get released until Sunday around 9:30 am.

I had to stay an extra night because my lab work showed my white blood cells shooting through the roof. The surgeon was sure it was just my body reacting to surgery but he wanted me to stay an extra night to run tests again. All is well now, I've never missed my bed that much before!!!

It depends on you insurance and your doctor. I wish they had sent me home after one day. I was bored silly.

I was sleeved yesterday at 7am and was discharged today at 1pm. I had no complications and little pain.

This was the first surgery that I had had in my 51 year life. Had no what kind of pain to expect.

The pain was a little more than I expected and couldn't get comfortable in bed. The biggest incision seemed like it was constantly pulling and made me a bit nauseus so they were giving me something for nausea. They were willing to let me go after one night, but I asked to stay for one more just because of the nausea.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
