DarthVixen 29 Posted November 12, 2014 Ive been looking at bariatric recipes and have noticed a lot of people replace bread and carbs with won ton wrappers. I've seen them used for tacos, sandwiches and other things. Has anyone tried it! They literally have nothing in them and it's 50 calories for 3 and let's face it, we can hardly eat three of anything. Lol. Pretty much just have only Protein.

tamg26k 479 Posted November 12, 2014 @@DarthVixen Keep us posted. They are on my shopping list for Sunday. I was going to line a few muffin tins with them and add chicken and taco seasoning and a bit of cheese and bake them one night next week. The only problem is I can only eat one and they might not be good the next day. We will see.

gahannagal 31 Posted November 13, 2014 I am three months out, I have tried the spaghetti squash and chicken liver filled ones from this web page: http://proteinartist.com/2014/10/spaghetti-squash-alfredo-bites-10-grams-protein-319-calories/ If you refrigerate or freeze left overs mine didn't stay crispy. I put too much garlic in the spaghetti squash ones ( I like a lot of garlic so i put more than called for)
DarthVixen 29 Posted November 13, 2014 Oh I'm going to give the spaghetti squash a try!!
DarthVixen 29 Posted November 13, 2014 They turned out great. Even my husband loved them. He turned do his nacho cheese taco shells for the won ton bowls! Highly recommend!!
auntiemel 275 Posted November 13, 2014 I made pizza with them. One wrapper with four pieces of turkey pepperoni, cheese, and sauce was plenty! I made two the first time and ended up feeding the other one to my sister.
