Using PB2 on Liquid Diet

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if I can mix the PB2 with my Premier Protein shakes on the liquid diet? Feel like that may help with not getting tired of the taste but not sure if I should. It's 1g of sugar, 5g of Carbs and 5g of protein..

I frequently use it in my shakes, though I find it works best if they are blended - just with a shaker bottle it can get gritty.

PB2 is powdered peanuts, sometimes called peanut flour. I believe it is a byproduct of making peanut oil - they press the oil out and what is left is peanut flour. It's a great way to add some Protein and Peanut Butter flavor to food without the fat of peanut butter. You can order it online, and my local smoothie King also stocks it.

I just asked my doctor that question yesterday. Mine said yes. I have noticed every doctor has different requirements, so you should check with yours.

PB2 is sold in Walmart and Target as well. I don't if that's in all locations of course!

I LOVE PB2… I have both the Peanut and the Peanut chocolate. Amazing stuff!! I just hope and pray my taste doesn't change after surgery to the point that I don't like it anymore because right now I love the stuff!
