dgross 32 Posted November 10, 2014 Hi yall I am in the, process of completing all my pre-op test and will be,sleeved in December. I feel as though I have become obessed with food labels. How much protien, carbs, sugar .... Trying to find what is going to be the best to eat after ... I feel annoying to my husband trying to teach him and my children. They dont say anything or get mad. Am i the, only one who,has become like this ?
Elode 8,093 Posted November 10, 2014 @@dgross No I think we all do it....we kinda have to! It's a good thing though, you should know what's going in your body so obsess away!
della street 213 Posted November 10, 2014 No, you're not the only one ) Hubby is getting mildly irritated (bored?) when I'm reading the forums and start to mention something like "hey, this person did this or that" or "hey, this person lost xxx lbs in xx months!" I'm trying to not make it my only obsessive point of conversation (I'm pre-op, paperwork submitted, orientation/psych test this week...) - but we're all trying to learn so much from what type of surgery would work best, what to eat/not eat, what's a tasty Protein shake (something I never thought I'd say, lol -- ), to serious complication issues, all about carbs/proteins -- it's a lot -- so I try to keep it as subtle as I can and come here to get my "obsessiveness" jones on, or is that out? )

Ladiec2 74 Posted November 10, 2014 (edited) I use to do the same thing on other diets and will probably do it after the surgery. I think it's normal because we want to make sure we're eating the things with the right ingredients. Edited November 10, 2014 by Ladiec2
