puttingme1st 143 Posted November 10, 2014 Today I hit 299. I have not been under 300 in 5 years. And that time was because I lost weight for a trip to Hawaii. I came home and gained it all back. For the first time in my life, I know I will never be over 300 again because I'm not doing it because of some silly goal like a trip, a reunion, family holiday. I'm finally doing it for the right reasons. Almost 3 weeks post op and I have not regretted my decision for even one second.

Camarolegend 185 Posted November 13, 2014 Great! I can't wait until I do the same. I haven't been that low since I was in college at VA Tech over 20 years ago. As I type this 17 lbs to go to 299.
angierue 214 Posted November 13, 2014 34lbs to go for me! I can't wait to get below 300 and know that this time, it'll be the last time. I started this journey at 380.5, lost 38 during pre-op and am down 9 since surgery last Tuesday. I was a little disappointed after seeing some other folks having lost 10-15 in their first week but then I look at how far I came so quickly already. Almost 50lbs in just over 11 weeks and one of those weeks were post-op. That's a big accomplishment! No more comparing myself to others!
Julie norton 2,850 Posted November 13, 2014 Angie Awesome weight loss. And it will not come back. That is the huge difference. Yes it is a different lifestyle than some. But for me it works. Hope it does continue for you. Keep posting. People care!
