shelbystroh 3 Posted November 7, 2014 I'm now 5 weeks post op and have had everything go wrong. A few weeks post op I started throwing up bile. Long story short - they had to remove my gallbladder and I spent 8 days in the hospital because it didn't help with the throwing up. I'm currently home because we weren't seeing any progress at the hospital and I'm still throwing up bile multiple times a day. Went to see a GI specialist today and going to try another new medicine. Can hardly drink anything and I feel so discouraged because I want to drink, but I just throw it up. If anyone has suggestions on drinks - I would really appreciate it! Trying to eat (dr gave the ok to eat whatever I want) every 2 hours and it's a struggle. I feel very bloated and full but dr says I have to try and eat to bring the bile down instead of up.
