melva66 56 Posted November 6, 2014 So I'm transferring insurances (to Oxford liberty) and their requirements for the sleeve is to have a BMI above 40 or if below have major health issue. Now I've been pre diabetic 2x's now and have PCOS. My weight has been up and down like crazy since the beginning of my 6month journey. Speaking with my dr's office my insurance does not consider being pre diabetic a major health issue or my PCOS. I'm starting to get nervous about getting approved. Anyone else been in the same boat?? Also does anyone know if they go with your starting BMI from when you started or where you at, at the end of your supervised weigh ins?

Keith what I'm reading about sleep apnea I might be a candidate for it. I have asthma but I'm not sure if that one of the major health issue Oxford is talking about. I'm keeping my fingers crossed though. To have come this far and be denied would completely suck!
