MzGee 65 Posted November 5, 2014 No shoes no clothes or very little clothes and my doctor said once a week too because more than that you will drive yourself insane!
Thinkingthinner1109 485 Posted November 5, 2014 I weigh first thing in the morning and make sure I have on the same nightshirt every single time. I only weigh on my Wii also. I don't pay any attention to scales at the doctors office. Because they will all read a little different it seems to me. I weigh twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday. I am 10 weeks post op and I have not had any stalls so far. Thank God for that.
barriej9 61 Posted November 5, 2014 I only weigh at the gym with clothes on and shoes off. I don't keep a scale at home because I would weigh myself every day and that would make me go crazy.
finediva 979 Posted November 5, 2014 First thing in the morning, as I came out of the womb, after using the bathroom, before any food or Water touches my mouth.
downsizingdiva 459 Posted November 5, 2014 (edited) Every morning. Before any food or drink. Use restroom. Clothes off. Daily just keeps me on track because if I eat something I shouldn't or eat more than I should, it WILL show on the scale the next morning. Keeps me focused that's for sure! BitterSweet* 835 Posted November 5, 2014 Get up, pee (wash your hands. Lol!), strip down, and weigh....once per week.
AvaFern 3,516 Posted November 5, 2014 I wake up, use the bathroom, get naked, and weigh myself every morning. This way I have a consistent record of what i weigh at the same time everyday. I write my weight down in a calendar so when I'm stuck in a stall like I have been for over a month now I can look back and see exactly how long I've been stuck. Also, weighing everyday keeps me very conscious of what I eat, so if I gain a pound one day, I'm really careful the next day and I almost always drop right back down to where I was. bikrchk 1,313 Posted November 5, 2014 Off, every Saturday, (no more often) after the bathroom, before coffee\breakfast.
Melissayw816 62 Posted November 5, 2014 Ok thanks because I would weigh myself twice a day and I would have different readings I would always go with the clothes on reading..idk why. ...but thanks for your input!
tamg26k 479 Posted November 5, 2014 I only weigh my self about once every 2 or 3 weeks. I know I should do once a week but I don't. It's kept the first 4 months really stress free and I like the fact that usually it is a significant weight loss at weigh in time. I actually go by my doctor's office (PCP) and they let me come in to "weigh in" Even though it is not a regular doctor visit they let me do this. It keeps me going. I don't have an accurate scale at the house. I'm thinking about getting the fitbit scale in the near future.
Essence46 493 Posted November 5, 2014 (edited) I have decided to put my scale away for a while. I have been getting on it every other day. If I gain a pound or two, I am panicking and I become afraid to eat anything. That only makes it worse because I am not getting enough calories then. I am driving myself crazy. LOL!
