No shoes no clothes or very little clothes and my doctor said once a week too because more than that you will drive yourself insane!

I weigh first thing in the morning and make sure I have on the same nightshirt every single time. I only weigh on my Wii also. I don't pay any attention to scales at the doctors office. Because they will all read a little different it seems to me. I weigh twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday. I am 10 weeks post op and I have not had any stalls so far. Thank God for that.

I only weigh at the gym with clothes on and shoes off. I don't keep a scale at home because I would weigh myself every day and that would make me go crazy.

First thing in the morning, as I came out of the womb, after using the bathroom, before any food or Water touches my mouth.

Every morning.

Before any food or drink.

Use restroom.

Clothes off.

Daily just keeps me on track because if I eat something I shouldn't or eat more than I should, it WILL show on the scale the next morning. Keeps me focused that's for sure! :)

Get up, pee (wash your hands. Lol!), strip down, and weigh....once per week.

I wake up, use the bathroom, get naked, and weigh myself every morning. This way I have a consistent record of what i weigh at the same time everyday. I write my weight down in a calendar so when I'm stuck in a stall like I have been for over a month now I can look back and see exactly how long I've been stuck. Also, weighing everyday keeps me very conscious of what I eat, so if I gain a pound one day, I'm really careful the next day and I almost always drop right back down to where I was.

Off, every Saturday, (no more often) after the bathroom, before coffee\breakfast.

Ok thanks because I would weigh myself twice a day and I would have different readings I would always go with the clothes on reading..idk why. ...but thanks for your input!

I only weigh my self about once every 2 or 3 weeks. I know I should do once a week but I don't. It's kept the first 4 months really stress free and I like the fact that usually it is a significant weight loss at weigh in time. I actually go by my doctor's office (PCP) and they let me come in to "weigh in" Even though it is not a regular doctor visit they let me do this. It keeps me going. I don't have an accurate scale at the house. I'm thinking about getting the fitbit scale in the near future.

I have decided to put my scale away for a while. I have been getting on it every other day. If I gain a pound or two, I am panicking and I become afraid to eat anything. That only makes it worse because I am not getting enough calories then. I am driving myself crazy. LOL!

I have been weighing every day. Today I decided to put the scales away and not get them out for a few weeks. I have a doctor's appt next week so I'll see my progress there.

I weigh every morning and take measurements weekly (and record the weekly weight and measurements in a diary).

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
