Bufflehead 6,358 Posted November 4, 2014 virtually everyone stalls at the third week out. Do a search on these forums for "three week stall" or "third week stall." Keep following your program and you'll start losing again -- but be patient. And get ready because there will be more stalls in your future. The only way you can avoid them is to stop weighing yourself so frequently -- that way you won't know when they happen! If you plot out your weight loss as a graph, it will not look like a smooth slope downwards. It is going to look like a bunch of randomly sized stair steps. Comeflywithme 402 Posted November 4, 2014 YUP, totally NORMAL.... welcome to the 3rd week stall but the good part of this is that in about 10 days....get ready because it will start melting off!!!!! Patient, it is wonderful....!
Sleevarilla 169 Posted November 4, 2014 AWESOME!! I get to do my copy/paste AGAIN!! Aww.. I haven't gotten to copy/past my copy/paste in a while!! Thanks for the opportunity!! I'll just copy/paste the copy/paste I did less than a week ago: I'll just copy/paste the answer I gave to someone else less than a week ago who asked the same thing: A search will show you dozens ... and dozens ... of threads about the stall that happens around week 2-3 post-op. Your body just had major surgery. Give it a break and relax and get well. Put the scale away and don't bring it out again for a couple of weeks. Be good to yourself, let yourself heal. Stalls happen all the time, this isn't a sprint it's a marathon.
