Surgery tomorrow! Question about my full liquid diet.

I go into surgery tomorrow, and I have a question about my full liquid diet. I've been trying out different types of Soups, bouillon, and I found a beef bouillon that I kind of enjoy, but I added a little bit of hidden valley ranch powder, just to add a little more flavor. Now, can I do this once i actually start my diet? Or is that a big no no? I know it has to fit through a strainer, and it would but I am a little unsure since there's a little bit of herbs in it.

Does it make the Soup thicker? If it still fits thru the strainer I would imagine it's probably ok, but if you are concerned I would really ask your doc. You will see him or her before surgery tomorrow.
