Jennifer Rogers 111 Posted November 2, 2014 (edited) I have tried to eat yogurt all my life, and it doesn't matter the brand, flavor, or kind...I just can't stand it. The only kind of yogurt I can eat is yoplait whips (but they are too high in calories, fat, carbs). Not liking yogurt has really threw a wrench into these early stages of food. Just wanted to vent...lol. K? Thanks! Edited November 2, 2014 by Jennifer Rogers
Thinkingthinner1109 485 Posted November 2, 2014 Not a yogurt fan either. Even the word yogurt is not to appealing. They should have named it something else.
built2livenotexist 119 Posted November 2, 2014 I'm not a huge yogurt fan either and the kind that I bought pre surgery was organic but had way too much carbs even thought it was Greek, so that's out. I get it.

Jennifer Rogers 111 Posted November 2, 2014 In praise of yogurt ... I love vanilla yogurt, especially with berries. I wish I liked it. Because yogurt and fresh fruit has always sounded so good to me! I thought I'd developed a taste for it in the hospital after surgery....my first meal post op was cream of wheat and vanilla Activia. I ate it and loved it...but now I realize it because anything cool going down my parched throat was heaven. I've not been able to tolerate it since...I've tried many times throughout my life...just cant. (And I'm not picky!!! Yogurt and oatmeal are just about the only two things that make me cringe)
Forsythia 882 Posted November 2, 2014 I didn't like Greek yogurt at all until after my sleeve. Go figure. I like regular yogurt but rarely eat it anymore. Do you like cottage cheese? You can try that in lieu of yogurt. Still has a good amount of Protein. You can always add unflavored Protein powder to cream of mushroom or cream of chicken Soup. Just do not add it while it is super hot. It will congeal and curdle (I learned that the hard way). ICK!
jhaymom 38 Posted November 2, 2014 I don't love yogurt either, especially greek, but I do love all the Protein it provides. So I just blend it up in my smoothies and it's all good! I get all the benefits and don't have to actually eat the stuff!!!
