It took me about 2 weeks not to feel so hungry. It is normal.

Were you given medicine to take 1st thing in the morning to minimize stomach acid to let your new stomach heal faster?

I wouldn't assume the gurgline has anything to do with hunger... it just happens and is normal.

The other thing to realize is you will have head hunger. There can be a lot of triggers for it: The time you usually snack at night, other people eating, etc. You think "I should be eating" and think your hungry, but you actually aren't.... as for the gurgling - you will have that for a while!

I was diagnosed by a blood test, but not after a biopsy. I was sleeved on 9/26. My surgeon said that it would resolve in 3 - 4 months after surgery.

I have what is called NASH (NonAlcohilicSteatoHepatis). Which basically means a fatty liver. My dr. Told me this is an asymptomatic disease which will dissipate as I loss weight. Mine was diagnosed via a liver biopsy.

You may experience hunger, but stick to your surgeon's rules. I had 3 meals a day with Protein Shakes in between. That kept the hunger under control. Your stomach will be noisy. My surgery was a year ago, and my stomach still makes noise. I do feel hunger and cravings, but with such a small stomach, it's easy to satisfy the hunger. Just take my advice, stay away from junk as long as possible. You will get to a point where you are able to eat anything you want, in small amounts. Try hard to make good choices, because it's too easy to fall into bad habits.
