goinghappy 25 Posted November 1, 2014 Congratulations! I am sure that in three days of rest at home you will be feeling more 'normal'! I was sleeved 10/24 and I took a week off of work. I am so glad I did because I needed a slower pace. I started feeling good three days after surgery and Super six days after surgery! I am very excited because I have dropped 13 lbs since surgery day! I am excited to plan for a new, healthier future!

#9grammy 274 Posted November 1, 2014 Bridget1015, your belly looks great... Mine is like a battle ground! Showed my daughter last night and she was amazed, so much bruising and 6 outlets. Big bruises from the blood thinners also. I'd hate to post a pic on here for a newbie to see, I'd be scared myself.
bridget1015 42 Posted November 1, 2014 Yes I have huge bruises from the Lovenox shots also. I slept much better last night bring in my own bed but I'm rather sore today. I have back problems as it is so not moving as much and at a slower pace tightens my back right up. Planning to take it easy today

kikicoates78 220 Posted November 4, 2014 Wow I only got 1 lovenox shot and didn't bruise at all. I had one small bruise around one of my incisions. Maybe u get more based on risk factors? I also got Clear Liquids the same eve as my surgery. Thank goodness I was starved. Started creams the next day. So far so good. Only thing that has hurt my belly is some Protein pudding I made. I think it was too dense too soon. I will try it again today or tomorrow. I go to puréed foods on Thursday. Can't wait!
