Exhaustion? Day 8 Post Op

Just wondering if you had any degree of post op exhaustion. I read that it may come..

When did you notice it starting?

How long did it last?

How did you work your way though it?

I just feel whipped...all of a sudden.

I'm 6 days post op, and it hit today big time. I had an extremely active weekend even going to Walmart and the zoo Sunday. Today I fell asleep shopping online on my couch.

Mine started about a week out of surgery, just as I was getting around better and starting to be more active. It lasted about a month. But after that first month, I had lots of energy.

I had mine on 10/20 as well I have moments where I feel like I can conquer the world & am my old self. Quickly I lose all energy and have to realize I need to slow down. I am used to always being on the go, so it's a big change for me. I am 14 lbs down, not sure if that's good or not. Have my followup Thursday. Just praying I have been doing everything right..bc as of right now, I can't even imagine returning to an 8 hr workday.

My surgery was also 10/20 & first follow up on Thursday. Since surgery I'm down 11.5 lbs. Yay! Very little pain. Actually haven't taken any mess since yesterday morning. Re: exhaustion, I'm fine, then all I want is a nap. Going back to work today on limited schedule. Tomorrow I have 2 4-yr olds all day ( mine and his cousin). Wish me luck.
