Kathy812 794 Posted December 17, 2014 @@Petunia1, I'm somewhat like you. I have had minimal issues with food. I've never thrown up . I recall fish hurting the first time but I tried it a Few weeks later and all is good. However, unlike you, I do get hungry ( I'm in my 9th week). I have to be very diligent about watching my calories. This makes me nervous so early out. I hope by being mindful now, it will become second nature later on. Petunia1 114 Posted December 17, 2014 Hi thanks for answering Kathy . I'm not going to lie I sometimes think I am " hungry "but I know it's all in my head . Since I was so used to eating and snacking all the time . I fight it though since I've read most of the time when you think it's a hunger pain it's really thirst . Peekboo 472 Posted December 17, 2014 I get hungry as well but I can drink Water and it satisfies me but not as long as eating.

Iowa_summergirl 46 Posted December 17, 2014 I have just really started to comprehend how different I am starting to look with my weight loss. I've had people tell me that I look great, but I guess I didn't really see it. This week I did...funny how your mind can make you feel so different about yourself! I was 8 weeks this past Tuesday (10/13) and am down 36 pounds since surgery. Since I started my journey (April), I am down 68 pounds!! All of my progress has been diet related since I am not exercising much with my knee complications. I hope that I can cross that off my list very soon. Saw my surgeon last week and they thought things looked good also. I have had my share of sliming and nausea, but I have to admit I have a hard time waiting 30 minutes after meals to drink. So we think that is probably the issue. I have learned to stop eating when I feel full which happens so quickly. I can't believe how you can go from full to overfull in literally one bite. Its been nice to hear how everyone is doing...keep the recipes coming to help me with food boredom!

xraymomma 19 Posted December 21, 2014 Hi all! I'm an October sleever. Had my surgery Oct. 1st and I'm down 50.2 lbs. Started at 227 and as of yesterday i'm 176.8! I have pretty much figured out what I can tolerate and what I can't. I still don't get all my Water in no matter how hard I try. I am also experiencing serious food boredom. I have to force myself to eat because I'm just not interested in anything.
