kenb79 95 Posted November 1, 2014 Oh my goodness. Scrambled egg, a little cheese, a little mayo and saracha. It was like eating a egg sandwich without the bread. Tasted so freaking good. It's the little things lol
cavery77 39 Posted November 4, 2014 Weighed this morning 3 weeks post op 30 lbs down!!!! Started some soft foods last night. Tilapia was so yummy. Only able to eat barley half of a small piece but enjoyed every bite. Still having side pain but sucking it up!! Feeling great. Love hearing people say "I am melting away". jstrong630 51 Posted November 4, 2014 I am about 3 weeks out and have been fine up until yesterday and now everything and anything i eat except popsicles makes me feel sick. Anyone else experiencing/experienced this?
Domawa 17 Posted November 4, 2014 I am two weeks out and at my first stall. I have lost 17 pounds since surgery. Nothing more for three days. 25 since I started this journey. Still gave massive troubles with Constipation. I am on probiotic, stool softeners, prune juice and taking Fiber. Hopefully when I start soft foods this week that will straighten out. I don't plan to weigh now for a week because I have heard you can gain when stating soft foods. That would be depressing Glad to hear I am on track with everyone else with pounds loss
rmspencer 79 Posted November 4, 2014 @@jstrong630 Totally normal. Mine hit 2 weeks out. Your sense of smell and taste have changed and so the foods you think you like are no longer appealing to your senses which causes the nausea. As does eating the same flavors day in and day out. NeoMe 0 Posted November 5, 2014 I'm 2 weeks out, and lost 15 pounds so far. I also have Constipation but I'm afraid to use any stool softener by mouth. I'm using glycerine suppositories, but they do nothing. I'm thinking to have some prune juice but I'm afraid my stomach cannot hold fibers yet.
Peekboo 472 Posted November 5, 2014 I am four weeks out an still having trouble with Constipation as well. My doc said to use milk of magnesia. It works but almost too well. I want to try prune juice too.
lovelytrl 162 Posted November 5, 2014 Why are our sentences being cut off? I've been having problems with Constipation too. I'm going today to get some stool softener so I can go with the struggle.
