Abdomen pain

I started having a pain like a really bad stomach ache that is in my upper middle and upper right abdomen. It began this afternoon. It was hours after ate. It is still very persistent - has not let up but also has not improved any. No nausea or diarrhea. Any ideas? I'm debating how long I should let it go on before I call my doc.

You do not say which surgery you have and when you had it done. If you just had surgery I would not wait and call.

Pain isn't normal. You should contact your doctor's office with advice.

It's probably too early in your weight loss to be your gall bladder if you still have one.

That soon since your surgery it might be a few things. Not chewing your food enough, gas, eating too quickly or a stricture.

Never be afraid to call your doctor. It's your health and this is a long term procedure. Not just a surgery and then your on your own.

Lastly, keep Mylanta on hand. It is a cure all with belly issues.
