jstrong630 51 Posted October 31, 2014 It stinks. I'm 16 days post op and haven't lost a pound in 5 days. Is this my first stall? Its bringing up old memories of past diet attempts where nothibg worked and now I feel like I went to my last resort and its not working. I know it will and I will stay the course. I am visiting my sister this weekend and there are lots of e akks and activities on our itinerary so maybe that will push me through.

Dmclaren83 21 Posted November 1, 2014 I have gone out with my boyfriend and his baby and family, to eat several times since surgery. I get the Soup and usually just pick at it. But I enjoy just being out and the convo mostly. Do I want to go face first in the pizza at bertuccis? Sure do, but I think about the pain it would cause and then I'm all set. GreenEyes604 753 Posted November 1, 2014 @BitterSweet* In response to your comment I respectfully want to say this to you... PLEASE don't do this to yourself. Making the comment, "I fully expect to feel this way after surgery" is setting yourself up for failure. Stop telling yourself something negative. Speak POSITIVITY to yourself! I just posted a topic which starts out "This may sound a little harsh...". Please take a moment and read it. I hope that it will be a blessing to you. I'm praying positivity and success into everyone that reads these threads. We all need to encourage each other to believe the positive, and fight against the negative. krtrebie 35 Posted November 1, 2014 I was the same way. I was liquid two weeks pre-op and four weeks post-op. It sucked and it was hard. But the results I have now make it worth it
