Food processor vs. hand blenders

Looking for opinions ... Which is better for use after surgery to make your food puréed?

I think that would depend on the quality of the machine you use. I was kind of cheap when I bought my processor because I only wanted it for chopping and shredding, and I have a high quality blender that I use to puree. But I'm sure a good quality processor would get the job done effectively

My fairly inexpensive Nutribullet does the trick quite nicely. I imagine they all get the job done whether lesser of higher priced. Some may do it in 30 seconds while others do it in 1 minute.
