sweetcheeks709 38 Posted October 26, 2014 Anyone else go through this? It has been horrible!!!! Up front, thanks for letting me whine and vent. I was just sleeved on 10/20, Monday. Came home Tuesday, I did have some pain and a ton of gas pains that made it hard to eat or drink anything. Slowly getting better on Wednesday, and then Bam! Thursday I wake up with the worst sore throat, inner ear, head thing ever! I call my surgeon, (1.5 hours away) and they say go to urgent care. That doc says I have some type of viral crud, nothing she could do. Not much coughing, but mostly my throat is so swollen and sore that it hurts to eat or drink anything. Now I have this lovely fever, but not a fever (99.4) where I'm sweating but freezing at the same time, so basically I'm up to my chin in blankets, and anytime I try to stick a limb out to cool off, it freezes. You should see my trying to write this right now. I have been so tired that I've barely been able to get out of bed to do the walking I'm supposed to, and have been sleeping off and on since then. I'm feeling very frustrated right now and mad that I got sick so soon after surgery that I'm not having a good time at all. I know i have to just let it run its course, but seriously?! Thanks for letting me whine/vent!!

Fdross 1 Posted October 26, 2014 Hey Michael, How is everything going? I was sleeved on October 20th. I came home from the hospital on Wednesday. Every 2 hours, I get cramping in my stomach. I don't know if I am not eating enough or whats going on. Any suggestions? Fe
KarenF1972 78 Posted October 26, 2014 The good news is, all the stuff you are supposed to be "eating" now is stuff that should help you feel better! Lots of Water, some Decaf tea and broth!! Gets lots of rest and listen to your body as far as doing walking - I wouldn't force it.
