I had the shot before I was banded and it only worked for 2 weeks. Try acupuncture and never never never walk barefoot. Even in the house. Buy a pair of Vionic shoes for the house and for outside the house. Also I bought these insole type things on

Those were helpful as well. Get good supportive sneakers. It really pays to spend money on shoes. I am noticing it getting a little better as I lose weight but haven't lost enough to really make a difference.

It stinks!!!
