Back pain?

Hello everyone I've read so many post about this issue but im not sure what the real deal is...I have this numbing throbbing pain in my upper left side of my back that protrudes sometimes down my left arm I keep hearing gas gas gas but it don't feel like it....any suggestions I will be calling my Dr office in the am

Let us know what your doctor says. Neither my primary care physician nor my surgeon answered this question. My pain wasn't just in my back, it was also in my shoulder and arms. It felt like my bones were aching. It went away on its own once I started eating solid food (about six weeks post-op).
