I just bought some resistance bands.....

Recommended Posts

Has anyone used resistance bands to work out. I work out at the YMCA as far as walking, jogging, biking, etc. I used to walk at lunch time at work but now that's it's getting cold I just don't want to sit and waste an hour sitting at my desk so I bought some resistance bands and I am going to start dong that at lunch time. I was just wondering how they worked for some people that have used them.

No, but I"m thinking about using them.

Where did you buy / find yours?

I used them but for strengthening purposes after hip replacement surgery. I got them from the physical therapist but I'm pretty sure you can get them at a sporting goods store.

I actually found mine at Marshalls. I got a beginner, Intermediate and advanced for 5.99 each. I can really feel it. Hope it does something too!

you can do a LOT of exercises with resistance bands.

They're great for strengthening & muscle toning.

They travel well; take up little space and are lightweight

A good inexpensive investment

Very inexpensive. I got medium resistance from five Below for $5.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
