scootergirl 118 Posted October 30, 2014 Started a little over a year ago at 313. Currently at 221. Have not lost any weight in nearly three months but feel so good and have so much energy I am not as upset as I thought I'd be. I'd still like to lose ~50 pounds more. Doesn't seem likely at this rate. I won't give up but would love to see the scale change again.
Betts69 6 Posted October 30, 2014 Keep up the great work. I started this whole journey at 350, and was 327 on the day of surgery (7 days ago, today in fact). I go to the DR tomorrow for my first post op visit and I'll find out if there as been any weight loss in the last week. I would think with the sheer amount of vomiting I've done in the last week, there has to be some reflection on the scale. I guess we'll find out. Good Luck to you!!! Lallylocks 111 Posted October 31, 2014 Hi! I have been waiting for WLS for over 4 years...I was sleeved Sept. 24. I'm 35, 5'8", a registered nurse. At my known heaviest I was 374. The balk finally started rolling in March when I followed up and had come down a few pounds since I was last seen (2 years ago). I kicked it into high gear and lost about 25 pounds before I got my surgery date. I started my pre-op diet one month ahead of surgery and lost about another 20. On the day of my surgery I was 327. Today I am 305. I'm excited to get my life back!

Cargannie 52 Posted November 4, 2014 I started at 344 lbs. I weighed in at 299.4 yesterday. I am in my 5th week post op. ????
kikicoates78 220 Posted November 4, 2014 I went in at 275. I am only 4'11 though. So I think that also makes a difference. I am only 11 days post op and down to 253. After only 19 days of diet then surgery till now I am ok with those numbers! My BMI was like 53 or something crazy like that! So I think I will drop more pounds quickly. You are also doing great and I'm very excited for you!! Congrats!
