LosingIt74 20 Posted October 18, 2014 (edited) So I had my last clearance appointment a week ago. Called the surgeon's office and spoke with the coordinator and apparently they are still missing my gastro/endoscopy report, my psych clearance, and my letter from my primary. She was putting in calls to get them, hopefully they will be quick about it! Other than the letter, which I called and requested weeks ago, the other 2 reports were the last 2 that I just had, so I am trying to be patient but it is so HARD! She said as soon as they get them, I will get a call to set up my date! Fingers crossed!! Edited October 18, 2014 by LosingIt74
RJ'S/beginning 5,358 Posted October 18, 2014 It will happen and then the real work will begin! Be patient and take this time to learn all you can about WLS and what you will need to do to be successful okay!
funsize 49 Posted October 18, 2014 I am feeling frustrated also I got all my preliminary done really fast even hand carried some reports, then having issues getting my Psych report that was completed 9/30. Then the psychologist fax broke really?!
LosingIt74 20 Posted October 19, 2014 @RJ'S/beginning I am definitely researching stuff! I lurk and read a LOT here and have read over my packets from the NUT several times. Originally my EGD was scheduled for November 19th, but they had a cancellation and I got in on 10/8, so I know I should just be grateful I am at this point. I am just looking forward to starting my new life!

I am just looking forward to starting my new life! Seems to me that you have a great attitude. I am so happy for you that you want so much to do this. I too was biting at the bit for this new life and worked hard to get here. It is not an easy road for anyone. There is a lot to deal with and things to fix. But the reward is wonderful. I love the new me most of the time. There are times when the old me rears its ugly head. It will always be there. It will always be a fight to keep going. But well worth the fight. Attitude is 1/2 the battle. The work the other half. I am addicted to food. When you can say that it will bring a relief that you can now fix it or at least keep it at bay. Good for you to want this so bad. Means you are serious and will go forward....
