Where are my August Sleevers?

Recommended Posts

Hey, Aug 20th... Down 38 lbs and on another stall. I think it's my fault with eating candy. But starting today I'm back on it. I've been setting weekly goals and I think once I get serious again I'll be fine. No problems, I can tolerate everything that goes in except bread. Bread is my enemy... Congrats to all of you doing so well!

Kandis, that's the reason they tell us not to eat it, but I figured I'd try just a little. But I just get super full and uncomfortable. Just not worth it...

The only heavy carb I added to my diet is the bulgar wheat. I only do 1/4 cup of that. I like the fact that it is versitile. You can have it for any meal. It also helps with my potty issues. I just make sure I eat all of my Protein first before that bulgar is off my plate.

@@mamita008 how are you eating? are you eating your Protein first? Make sure to drink lots of Water. I can say I haven't had a stall thank God. I work out 3-4 days a week I eat my protein first. Then my vegetables I eat carbs but I limited it. I make sure I am drinking my water.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
