dc0520 263 Posted October 14, 2014 I'm curious. I am one week post op and down 20 lbs. I have been doing everything I've been told but extremely exhausted. So weak my kids are pretty much having to do things for themselves. It's a great thing to lose, but is there a standard on when it's dangerous? Anyone with results like this? allielee 263 Posted October 14, 2014 You are probably weak from the surgery itself not the weight loss. I lost 20 first week as well and now I am losing about 10lbs a month. If you are getting in Protein and plenty of Water and taking your Vitamins you are good. Don't worry before you know it the scale will slow down and may even stall for awhile. It's normal. I keep track of my weight on my fitness pal so I can see that I may lose a lot then stall then lose..

happymama2014 206 Posted October 17, 2014 I see some people lose 30-40 the first 6 weeks and others 15-20 so I'm open to whatever loss comes. Something has to happen because your basically starving until your body is eating fat reserves for fuel. If your only taking in 5-600 calories you are bound to drop some serious lbs. relax and heal enjoy the ride!
