How open are you with your employer re:surgery plans?

Hi! Just curious if you had any information on the approval process for Kaiser? I'm switching in January and just want to make sure I have everything together so that I will hopefully be approved

All I did was ask my doctor to refer me and she did and I was approved right away. What takes so long are the classes etc. good luck! Kaiser has some of the best surgeons!

I'm hoping it'll go as smoothly for me! I'll be meeting my new primary care and requesting for him/her to refer me all in the same day so hopefully they're pro surgery

Ok I'm in Salem OR. From what I've seen on here your area is good. People get their surgeries pretty quick. Good luck!

Lol. Oh there's some that have it worse. San Diego here in CA I read they have a 6 month class. I'd lose my mind!!

Me too, I was told by Kaiser that the average is 8 months but I think that I will be done in 4.

What do you mean by stats? Like height and stuff? I'm 5'7 and I weigh 269.

Yeah. That's what I meant. Sorry not sure what it's called? Still getting used to the WLS lingo. Lol. I was just curious. I guess I'm worried about them not approving me. I'm just concerned. The last thing I want right now is for me to not be able to have the surgery
