geeky gal 5 Posted October 28, 2014 Is anyone interested in a secret group on Facebook? I find FB easer to use then this app and it would be a great way to keep up with all November sleevers. Also secret groups are completely private so your FB friends will not see anything you post or even know that you are in the group. Yes, I am interested! My date is Nov. 17 and with the pre-op diet plan coming up, my anxiety, preparing for THE day, etc., it would be wonderful to have support of those going through the same thing especially at the same time. Silver01 5 Posted October 28, 2014 Hello. I'm an October Sleever actually. Just joined this site today. I am 8 days post-op from Lap-Band to Sleeve Conversion. My doctor was able to do both at the same time, thank God! Things are going well so far just tired of the liquid diet, ready to move on. My post-op visit is next week, really looking forward to finding out how much I've lost, decided not to purchase a scale to keep from over-obsessing about the weight. I feel pretty light though, Lol! I'm at home another week so if anyone has any questions about my experience, I'm free to chat.

I am taking 2 weeks but my surgeons office just told me 2-4 depending on how I feel. I don't get paid time off so I want to return ASAP but I don't want to be unrealistic either! Silver01 5 Posted October 28, 2014 Hi Yes I am taking two weeks and a few days. Not sure if I'll be ready to go back when time. I ventured out today to the nail salon because I got tired of laying around but was exhausted by the time I got back home. Didn't do anything but sit for mani/pedi. I know I'm not getting all of my liquids. It's easier said than done especially with trying to get all the Protein in and the Multivitamins and prescribed meds. It's overwhelming. I'm not going to complain though, I know the end result is going to be great!!

I had my gallbladder removed a few years ago...I recovered very quickly and didn't need any pain meds once I got home. It's recovering from anesthesia that takes a while, so you will be doing that anyway with your WLS. Good for you, getting it removed at the same time!
