superbariatricbabe 180 Posted October 16, 2014 (edited) Is anyone else still struggling with "fullness"? I'm trying to be really careful not to over fill my pouch, but it's hard to know what full feels like. I definitely err on the side of not full rather than painfully full, so I'm not even sure what full feels like! There's no more hungry vs not hungry signals to help me differentiate. How do you guys do it? I'm asking because sometimes I feel like I can drink more Water than I should, so I have to concentrate on not over doing it. Beni 1,484 Posted October 16, 2014 My NUT said to measure your food in a 1/2 cup and don't go over it no matter what for at least a month. You do not want to bust your pouch. Sadly, it does happen. I'm sure at this point you probably can't even eat 1/2 cup but think of it as the ceiling.
AuriP 420 Posted October 16, 2014 I agree with Beni, I just has my first "meal" since surgery, it was 1/2C of cottage cheese and I still didn't eat all of it. That was an experience, one I probably won't ever forget.
Beni 1,484 Posted October 16, 2014 AuriP You did it. I must be amazing to eat less then a 1/2 cup of food and be done. I can't even begin to imagine what's like.

superbariatricbabe 180 Posted October 17, 2014 That 1/2 cup is a good idea! I just ate a pudding cup over the space of 30 minutes and I was afraid it was too much.
