AuriP 420 Posted October 10, 2014 Those who have used it, have you had labs drawn afterwards? Were your levels good? I'm not able to tolerate the Protein Shakes, its making me extremely nauseous. I just purchased this and hoping I'm not doing myself more harm by using this instead of trying to choke down the others.

BeagleLover 1,020 Posted October 10, 2014 I can't speak directly on this, but I remember someone on BP saying that it was recommended by Johns Hopkins and was 100% Protein isolate. It that is true, it's good. I use powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury and really like it. I don't feel like I have to choke it down. The taste is very clean, not like medicine at all. By the way, if you like chocolate, their chocolate Splendor, mixed with sugarless Silk Soymilk + 1 1/2 Tb. malted milk powder tastes just like a real chocolate malt! amylynns 802 Posted October 10, 2014 Auri--I'm of course not post-op yet---but I'm using it now on my pre-op diet. I mix it with broth and V-8 juice (makes like a Tomato soup) and I don't taste it AT ALL. And it's 30g of protein!!
Beni 1,484 Posted October 11, 2014 I purchased GENEPRO earlier today. The 30g Protein and no flavor was a selling point for me. I find Protein shakes revolting so far. Yes, I will drink them and pretend they taste good but I will gladly give them up. I am thinking the trick is to add the powder to things that are more familiar. I don't usually drink chocolate shakes but adding Protein Powder to broth and V8 sounds appealing. It will be a salty break.
Kya Wolf 69 Posted October 12, 2014 you can go to their site and order samples, that is what i did. I hit all the providers of Protein products and supplements, and emailed them all requesting samples. i have gotten really good responses, and lots of things to try
Okiebon 61 Posted November 20, 2014 I had the same question as the OP about GENEPRO. Has anyone actually had blood work done to check their Protein levels since starting on GENEPRO? I mean lab results from your own doctor that show it works as they claim it does? I'm interested, but their claims sound too good to be true. I don't want to take it thinking I'm getting the Protein my body needs after bypass surgery and then find out it's all a sham. But I haven't seen one review yet that's supported by factual evidence of protein levels in the body after taking the product for any length of time. Have you had any other noticeable results (or problems) since you started taking Genepro?
